projects, looking for professional candidates of below positions:

PROJECT MANAGER

Roles & Responsibilities :

The project manager is the person who has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project

The Project Manager (PM) will have total responsibility for the delivery of project within schedule, within budget in a safe manner and within quality. A high degree of importance is placed on the aspects of Management and co-ordination of project activities necessary to complete an EPC Project. It will require an excellent knowledge of change management, interface control and the process’s to drive excellence within the engineering function.

  • Reports to Manager of Projects or Sr. Project Manager or Project Director.
  • Focal point for client while independently handling a project
  • Responsible for management of all phases of projects
  • Accountable for financial and technical success of project
  • Chaired regular internal weekly project progress meetings
  • Present internal monthly project review meetings to senior management
  • Manages project personnel to achieve project objectives
  • Maybe required to manage Bid Proposals, at times while waiting for a project in the interim.
  • Promotes a culture of teamwork, collaboration and success; Learns from other leaders.
  • Ensures preparation of Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Scope of Work, Project Setup, Project Closeout and Change Orders.
  • Reviews and approves project expenditures, budgets, estimates, cost reports, project financial forecasts and schedules.
  • Ensures clear and open communication with project team members and between project team and functional groups, the changes in scope of work and schedule are captured in the Change Management System and the implementation of lessons Learned.
  • Manages the project team, internal and external customer relationships, and staffing of project team with competent persons from the functional groups.
  • Manages to the cost, schedule, safety, quality and contractual requirements of the project through effective planning in accordance with company procedures.
  • Applies basic understanding of company’s business to improve project cost effectiveness, apply change management principles and improve project margin.
  • Demonstrates values in line with company’s values.
  • Understands and promotes MEINDO’s Integrated Management System (IMS).

Requirements :

  • PM shall have advanced knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.
  • PM shall be “hands-on” type and must be able to, and be prepared to get their sleeves rolled up and get stuck into technical issues at a detailed level.
  • PM shall have excellent presentation and written skills to enable clear and concise delivery of information to staff, customers, contractors and supervisors
  • Education:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience:
  1. Minimum 12 years of experience in EPCI Projects
  2. Minimum  8 years of experience in a Project Leadership role.
  3. Experience in Oil and Gas upstream Industry.

PROJECT ENGINEERS / Sr. PROJECT ENGINEERS

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Functionally reports to Manager of Projects, and report to Project Manager when deployed into project
  • Performs project engineering functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems;
  • Review all technical project documentation at contract award and highlight changes and/or discrepancies between pre-award and contract documentation and deficiencies in tender method statements.
  • Lead regular internal project meetings, take minutes of meeting, follow up action items
  • Co-ordinate the generation of procurement, fabrication and installation documentation (scopes of work, procedures, drawings, sketches, etc).
  • Co-ordinate the preparation of fabrication and offshore construction “as-built” documentation packages.
  • Ensure technical accuracy of procurement, fabrication and installation documentation including compliance with contract requirements.
  • Identifies and evaluates issues and events that may constitute an increase or decrease in project or service scope, cost, or schedule.
  • Provide active support to the engineering and procurement team during the engineering / detailed design stage
  • Provide active support to the engineering and fabrication team during the onshore / offshore construction, hook-up and pre-commissioning stages.
  • Coordinates efforts of engineering disciplines to assure integrated and complete designs that meet project requirements;
  • Assists in creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitors activities, progress, and milestones;
  • Assists in creation and coordination of project manhour and cost estimates and budgets, and monitors progress and performance against these;
  • Active participation in Project Interactive Planning session
  • Active participation and maintain Project Risks Register
  • Prepare and deliver presentations whenever required by the Project Manager / Manager of Project.
  • Assures compliance with established safety policies and procedures and practices safe work habits throughout all phases of the project;
  • Train Junior Project Engineers and graduates when required.
  • For Senior Project Engineer: Same as above.  At this level may supervise the work of other project engineers on larger projects;

Requirements :

  • PE / Sr. PE shall have knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.
  • PE / Sr.PE shall have good inter-personal skills, possess knowledge of multi-discipline, and possess knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.
  • PE/Sr.PE shall be “hands-on” type and must be able to, and be prepared to get their sleeves rolled up and get stuck into technical issues at a detailed level.
  • PE/Sr.PE shall have good presentation and written skills to enable clear and concise delivery of information to staff, customers, contractors and supervisors
  • Education:
  1. Minimum Bachelors Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience
  1. Experience in Oil and Gas upstream Industry.
  2. Project Engineer: Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Engineering and/or construction; of which 3 years within EPCI framework
  3. Senior Project Engineer: Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Engineering and/or construction; of which 5 years within EPCI framework
